Hans Conried may be best remembered as the villainous piano teacher Dr. Terwilliker in The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T, the voice of Capt. Hook in Disney's animated Peter Pan, his many television appearances on such classic shows as I Love Lucy and The Danny Thomas Show (as Uncle Tonoose), as well as the voice of the comical villain Snidely Whiplash from the Jay Ward Dudley Do-Right series.

Conried was also considered one of the top radio actors of his time performing in over 10,000 shows between 1936 and the late 1950's.  The book contains comprehensive logs of Conried's radio, television, stage, and voice work, along with listings for his work for various other projects.  In order to showcase this colorful character's vibrant personality and love of his craft, I have used many quotes collected from a myriad of sources spanning Conried's long career, and interviews with friends, family and colleagues.  I hope you will enjoy reading about this witty, erudite, versatile, and talented actor as much as I enjoyed writing about him.

Any new information I uncover will be posted to this web site and incorporated into future revised editions of the book.  If you have any corrections to make, or additional material to bring to my attention, please use the e-mail link shown at the top of each page.  The links in the lefthand column will bring you to the page dedicated to one or more of the logs as noted.  Thank you very much for your interest and support.

Welcome! This web site has been designed to help those considering the purchase of my book by providing more information and samples, but it will be those who have already read the book who will benefit most from the added log information and updates.  The book itself was conceived as a resource for fans of this inimitable character actor, and a way to preserve a record of his achievements for future generations.
